There is an Erwin Pearl. Born in Vienna, Austria, Erwin Pearl came to the United States as a young boy. He soon became a leading designer of fine jewelry, even winning the prestigious Diamond International Award for five consecutive years. However, the challenge of designing pieces accessible to a wider audience led him into fashion jewelry.
The entire process of creating Erwin Pearl jewelry begins at one of several factories. The Armbrust and Kunzman chain divisions have been producing quality fashion pieces for over fifty years, making Erwin Pearl the only major jewelry manufacturer and wholesaler which retains its own chain factory, allowing for the best possible control over quality and production.

A family operation, D&O Diamond, Inc. has been providing quality jewelry to New York community since 1963. Mastering his talents in Israel, our founding father worked as a diamond cutter in his homeland before moving to the United States 20 years ago. Since coming to New York we've worked hard to establish our own custom jewelry division. We believe that "an investment of a lifetime should be guided by over 40 years of experience.

David Yurman is the founder of the David Yurman jewelry company. His signature jewelry line is comprised of "cable" jewelry, made from twisted sterling silver ropes.
Yurman established his company in 1979. Yurman, along with his wife Sybil, have sought, in the company's words, "to fuse art, fashion and fine jewelry.". The company is also notable for its use of supermodels in its advertising campaigns. Past campaigns have included models such as Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Amber Valletta and more. In 1899, the first Mikimoto pearl shop opened in the fashionable Ginza district of Tokyo. The Mikimoto business quickly expanded internationally, opening stores in London (1913), then in Paris, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Shanghai and Bombay, and was thus one of the first Japanese brands to attain an international presence and recognition.
Mikimoto took advantage of every opportunity to personally promote his pearls, and took part in the 1926 Philadelphia World Exposition in which he displayed a replica of the "Liberty Bell" covered with pearls. Source
